Our Approach
Punch Farm Market Garden uses sustainable farming practices to produce nourishing food and to help regenerate the land. Our approach involves no chemical inputs, minimal soil disruption and growing a diversity of edible plants to maximise plant, soil, and ecosystem health. By harvesting rainwater, using solar power and composting green waste, we also seek to reduce reliance on mains utilities.
Following a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model enables us to create a direct relationship between grower and consumer. To receive a weekly veg box, we ask that you become a Punch Farm member for a growing season. This commitment supports the costs of running the farm and paying growers a living wage. Our partnership with our members is one of transparency, trust and shared environmental values. We encourage you to join us on the farm to learn more about growing and cooking seasonal local produce. Together, we can lessen our dependence on industrial-grown food and share the responsibility over how and where our food is grown.
We believe that by following regenerative practices and working alongside like-minded people, we can collectively create a more sustainable food system, healthier lives, opportunities for work and greater bonds in our community.
