‘Love the soil, love seeds, love growing, love the rain, love the sun, love the outdoors, love people, love cooking, love feeding, love fermenting, love life.’
We are a market garden based on the edge of Chipping Norton. Our mission is to improve the health of both people and the land and to rebuild and celebrate local food systems and communities.
We use regenerative agricultural practices to produce delicious, diverse, chemical-free vegetables, salads and herbs. In doing so, we strive to help repair soils, revitalize wildlife and provide much-needed nutritious food for our local community.
We are proud to follow the CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) model. This provides members with a weekly veg box; sharing the harvest throughout the growing season. It also keeps our naturally-grown produce local and affordable, inviting you to be part of the solution to the current large-scale, unsustainable food system. We are excited to join the growing number of market gardens and farms across the UK working towards a healthier future for growers and consumers.
We offer lots of opportunities to get involved. Be it through veg box membership, volunteering, cooking workshops or events. We create an environment where people can come together to learn, eat well and reconnect to each other and the land. We hope you will be inspired to join us!
The Punch Farm name and logo is a nod to our history, the history of farming and to the majestic horse we know as ‘The Suffolk Punch’. Their wonderful disposition, willingness to work, great endurance and heart, are all traits that we can only hope to replicate in our lives and in the market garden.
